"Il Ballo del Doge", organized by Antonia Sautter since 1994, has been defined the world’s most elegant and exclusive Ball. In the 2009 edition, a new event: a charity auction of a Ferrari F 430 GT – GRAND AM auctioned of by Meeting Art. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Lega del Filo d’Oro Association, represented by Renzo Arbore, musician and ambassador of the Italian music in the world. The Lega del Filo d’Oro, is a no-profit Organisation, with the sole aim of achieving social harmony, has as its objective the assistance, education, rehabilitation treatment and re-integration of people who are deafblind and have multisensory deficits.
Ferrari F 430 GT – GRAND AM. It's a Ferrari GT3 FIA Championship car which Kessel Racing has transformed into a Grand Am on the basis of technical instructions established by the regulations of the American Grand Am championship. The differences lie in the aerodynamics, as the air penetration coefficient has to be adapted with a rear fin provided by Grand Am technicians, plus the addition of specially constructed miniskirts and spoilers. The rims will have 5 anchorage holes; BBS studied the car to design the rims, and Brembo came up with new brakes and grippers adaptable to this technical innovation, a unique addition to a Ferrari. The engine is an eight cylinder Ferrari GT3 with a number of improvements, which produced a power of 560 HP in final testing. The roll ball structure is also completely new, with reinforcements added at the top and front. The 8 cylinder Ferrari will be cooled by two radiators and not a central one like an ordinary GT3. The official debut in the USA is scheduled on 2nd July 2009 in Daytona; drivers: Alex Pignone and Eddie Cheever.

The owner who gets the car will become a partner in the Daytona 2009 project enjoying the following benefits:

1. participation with the Ferrari F 430 GT – GRAND AM in the Grand Am 2009 Championship competition on the Daytona International Speedway on July 2nd 2009;

2. the right to display a logo of his or her choice on the hood of the Ferrari F 430 GT – GRAND AM;

3. organisation and national and international promotion of the Daytona event;

4. the opportunity to hold private or corporate promotional events in the paddock during the competition

The new web-based training and consultancy service is activated. This is a virtual classroom where participants can access educational materials, listen to live lectures and "raise their hand" to participate in the topics being covered.

The OSA cooperative of Rome is Mito group's majority shareholder. OSA is an important national leader in the health and social assistance sector. With the acquisition of the majority in the Mito group company, it intends to improve its own communication as well as enter a new market.
