For approximately three years, Mito Group has been in charge of the development and management of the whole schedule of initiatives and promotional and communication activities of Asso di Gusto:
it is a veritable feast of taste, a feast of the quality of the foods and wines of the region of Modena in all its most diverse expressions, from the lowlands to the hills and mountains, an event born in October 2001 that the Province of Modena, Promo, the City of Modena and Fondo Comprensoriale promote in order to give prominence to the typical local products and to boost and increase the number of tourists coming to visit the province.
The event, which is organised in conjunction with the Region Emilia Romagna and the Chamber of Commerce of Modena, organises a number of exhibitions, events, tasting sessions, meetings with experts, presentations of books, shows, Slow Food workshops in Modena and in other nearby cities;
Mercatini del Gusto, an event in which the streets and squares of the old city centre of Modena are crammed with stalls displaying and offering tastings of traditional foods;
Andar per Sagre, a feast in which over 40 municipalities, local tourist offices, volunteer associations and organisers of food festivals and local feasts present their shows in the very heart of Modena, including band performances, choirs, parades in period costumes, historical commemorations and flag-waivers...
